Valldemossa (Majorca)
Stone village in the Serra de Tramuntana, with flower-filled streets and the Royal Charterhouse where Chopin and George Sand spent a winter. It is one of the loveliest places to visit in Majorca.

It is 16 km as the crow flies from Palma (about 30 min by car). Mallorca can be reached by plane or by ferry from mainland Spain. The nearest airport with scheduled flights is Palma de Mallorca, 20 km away as the crow flies.
