What data we collect and why

• Your account: first name, surnames, username, email, password (stored encrypted), and optionally a profile photo and description. Used to create and manage your account and to send you the verification email. Legal basis: performance of the service you request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• What you do on the website: favourites, routes, ratings and comments. Ratings and comments are shown publicly with your username. Same legal basis.
• Technical data: the session cookie and your language preference, needed for the website to work (see the cookie policy).

How long we keep it

While your account is active. If you ask us to delete it, we delete your data, except what we must keep by law.

Who else receives it

We do not sell your data. Service providers that process it on our behalf: the hosting company where the website runs and the email provider used to send verification emails. The website loads fonts and icons from Google Fonts and jsDelivr, and maps from OpenStreetMap, which receive your IP address when you visit.

Affiliate links

When you click a Civitatis link you leave VoyViajando; from then on Civitatis's own privacy policy applies. We only receive anonymous data about bookings to calculate our commission.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data by writing to jorgecs004@gmail.com. If you think your rights have not been respected, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
